After the opening of La Taberna de Pedro in 2005, the two brothers Pedro and Luis García de la Navarra decided to join forces in 2011 to work together and opened the Restaurante Vinoteca García de la Navarra.

Pedro and Luis, chef and sommelier respectively, run this restaurant-wine bar located behind the Cibeles Palace, in Retiro. In this simply decorated bar, seasonal ingredients are as important as the wines, with the bar’s wine cellar boasting around 700 varieties. These can be enjoyed either with your meal or at the bar, by the glass and accompanied by traditional tapas.

Traditional home-cooked Food and Wine Worship

Pedro’s food is an exquisite seasonal cuisine, without intermediaries, always looking for the best raw materials from the best suppliers. So, do not forget to ask about special dishes that don’t appear on the menu.

Meanwhile, Luis as sommelier puts at your disposal a great wine list with more than 700 references, with emphasis on classic Spanish regions like Ribera del Duero and Rioja; including some very serious wines like Vega Sicilia Único, Pingus, Artadi Viña el Pisón and Remirez de Ganuza Reserva; and old vintages of Rioja that go as far back as the 1930’s.
